Testimonials

Etons of Bath were instrumental in the design, remodelling and renovation of our large Georgian Country Home; which had not seen investment for some 30 years. The designs produced have transformed our home into a stylish, elegant and remarkable property that sets off the original features and classical style beautifully. We had tight timescales and the project grew far larger than we had anticipated. However, the service levels and exceptional efforts from Sarah and her team in meeting our demands were second to none and were, without a doubt, one of the key reasons we managed to get moved in on time. Notwithstanding the stresses of such a challenging project, we enjoyed working with Etons of Bath and found them to be professional and diligent throughout. We would recommend them to anyone, and who knows, perhaps even use them on a project in the future

– Owner, Georgian Country Home, Northumberland

While there are many resources in the US in terms of designers, we could not have been more thrilled to have received the counsel of Etons of Bath as we restore our historically significant Georgian home. Beyond the timelessly elegant vision created for us, the joy working with Sarah and her team made us love the process. The firm made a project that was so overwhelming to us, an absolute delight and the design itself was even more than we could have hoped for. Would not hesitate working with Etons of Bath truly not matter where you are living in the world!

Owner, Georgian style house, Long Island, USA

Etons of Bath is the most professional, responsive and attentive design firm with whom I’ve ever worked. As an owner who resides primarily in the U.S., I was able to turn our Georgian project over to two skilled designers, Kelly and Caroline, with complete confidence. Their eye for space, practicality and sympathy for original features in our home-away-from-home resulted in a place we can truly appreciate. In addition, they worked directly with contractors and sourcing agents to procure and finish the projects from beginning to end. Their attention to detail, follow-up on outstanding items and communicativeness made it a pleasure to work with them. We look forward to many years of enjoyment of our Bath flat.

– Mr and Mrs Benton, Georgian flat in Bath

Sarah Latham and Etons of Bath came to my rescue after attempting to furnish a complete Georgian House in Bath myself. After our brief, Sarah came back with an excellent presentation for furniture, soft furnishings, art work and rugs which matched our contemporary interior design style and budget. Her response time is fast, execution is swift and nothing is too much for her. She is very professional but at the same time her lovely personality makes working with her a real pleasure. She also has excellent communication skills and made me feel like I was her only client. I will most certainly promote her Georgian interior design service here in Bath as she is the best interior designer in Bath I have come across

– Owner, Georgian House, Bath

Your team dressed the windows in our late 1600s home. She helped us select fantastic fabrics, fastenings and styles that worked with the architecture, furniture and colour palette of the rooms and everything was taken care of from measurements to installation. We even used a bespoke fabric with a tartan of significance to our family in one of the children’s rooms. We’ve had so many compliments.

– Owner, J Engelhardt, London

Etons of Bath have had a great service ethic throughout our Georgian interior design project for which both Emma and I are extremely grateful. We are delighted with the finished result at the house and we are extremely grateful to you for all the hard work that you have put in to delivering this end result. We could not have done it without you and I would be very happy to provide a reference to other potential customers you have who want to hear about our experience first hand.

– Owner, Georgian Country House, Oxfordshire

Etons of Bath were recommended to me by an acquaintance. They have recently created some wonderful room concepts and Georgian interior design for our new house. Sarah’s eye for proportions and space has meant that she has delivered a colour palatte that flows seamlessly from one room to another. She also recommended flooring, wallpaper and soft furnishings that have added the textures and patterns that have brought the property to life. Sarah is diligent and professional and a first rate communicator. She provided clarity on both style and process and we look forward to working with her on the next stage of the project.

– Mr J Banks, Flint Cottage, Surrey

My husband and I appointed Etons of Bath to renovate a Georgian Farmhouse in Suffolk that we were were to use as our base when in the UK. We were extremely impressed by the speed and efficiency with which Etons of Bath worked, particularly given that we were overseas whilst the project was being undertaken. Sarah Latham and her team developed the Georgian interior design, colour schemes throughout and sourced all furniture, floor coverings, light fittings, bathrooms and window dressing’s. Etons of Bath also worked as a team with the architects and the building contractor and oversaw the complete installation. The communication on the project was excellent and the very tight project deadline was met. I would have no hesitation in recommending Etons of Bath.

– Mrs Lamprell, Georgian Farmhouse, Suffolk

We first contacted Etons of Bath when we had reached a complete impasse with the renovation and interior design of our old Georgian rectory. Sarah very quickly grasped what we were looking for in terms of advice and we were seriously impressed by her work immediately. Sarah’s gift is that she combines a superb knowledge of her interior design field with a personal touch and feel for the client’s individual objectives and personal tastes. What also sets her apart for us is that she was able to use her understanding of period property and architecture to accentuate the best features of the house with some contemporary twists that were modern and up to date. What we have been able to achieve as well is not only a beautiful design but one that works practically for a family of five to live in. I think we ended up buying every item of furniture she proposed as the pieces are literally stunning and everything we were looking for, but had been completely unable to find ourselves. We would be more than happy to recommend Etons of Bath to anyone seeking advice on period property

“I don’t know where to start – this apartment is the most amazing, glamorous apartment I’ve ever stepped foot in! As someone that appreciates interior design, this apartment really impressed me. The attention to detail of every little thing in the flat is truly incredible. I didn’t want to leave! It was so perfect I was waiting to find a flaw and there just aren’t any!
